Dr. Larissa Portnoff is a clinical psychologist who received her Ph.D. from Columbia University. She has offered executive function coaching to children and adolescents with support for parents over many years. She coordinates with the top tier private and public schools in New York City and likes meeting with young adults who are adjusting to college life. Her approach focuses on behavioral change and emotion regulation skills to motivate students to reach their full potential. She enjoys building self-confidence in students and supporting all learning styles and social identities. Her previous clinical positions have included college counseling at NYU and women–focused mental health at New York Presbyterian. Previous research has focused on global mental health and mindfulness.
