Nikki Shirazi

STUDENT and thinkSMART@home COACH

Nikki is currently pursuing a major in Neuroscience and is planning to graduate from UCLA with departmental honors. She joined Dr. Ellis’ thinkSMART lab at UCLA as a freshman and is currently one of the Lead Research Assistants. She is also a research assistant in the Rissman Memory Lab where she is aiding in data collection for their study on the left ventrolateral cortex’s role in value-directed memory. On campus, Nikki volunteers at UCLA’s Ronald Reagan Hospital as a wayfinder and is also a tutor for UCLA’s Organic Chemistry courses for Life Science majors.

In the future, Nikki wants to go to medical school to pursue a career as a Pediatric Neurologist. In her free time, Nikki enjoys baking, weightlifting, and playing video games.
